Brendan is a paraplanner at Guidance Financial Services, specialising in the technical work that helps turn financial advice into clear, well-built strategies.

Since joining the team after graduating from the University of Canberra in 2021, Brendan has worked closely with our advisers to prepare advice across superannuation, insurance, retirement planning and broader wealth strategies. He helps test the numbers, compare options, prepare quotes and ensure each recommendation is accurate, practical and aligned with the client’s goals.

It is detailed work, and Brendan is exactly the person you want doing it. He is thorough, analytical and genuinely invested in making sure clients receive advice that has been carefully considered from every angle.

While much of his role happens behind the scenes, Brendan is very much in the client’s corner. His work helps make sure the strategy presented is not just technically sound, but built to support the decisions and outcomes that matter most.

Outside of work, Brendan is usually walking, gardening, reading, building or playing on computers, learning more about finance, or practising Swedish with mixed levels of consistency. He also loves movies and is often thinking about his next overseas trip.
