Who we are

After 16 years working at one of Australia’s largest banks, Paul Benson saw something that didn’t sit right. Advice was often shaped by products.

So, he left to build something different. In 2006, Guidance Financial Services was created with a simple idea.

Financial Advice that put people before products. Every time.

That principle still sits at the centre of everything we do, 20 years on.

Guidance Financial Services is a financial advice firm based in Essendon, Melbourne, helping people all over Australia understand where they stand, make better decisions with their money, and build a financial plan for the life they want.

We help clients with retirement planning, superannuation, investments, inheritance, divorce or separation, and major life changes, so they can stop guessing and feel clear about what to do next.
